Chicken Myway strips arcade gaming down to its raw essence: objects fall from the top of your screen in continuous waves, each one tagged with a specific color. Three buckets wait at the bottom, each representing a distinct color. Your job is singular: swipe or tap each falling object to guide it into the bucket that matches its color before it lands.
The control scheme demands precision. You control the falling items themselves through single-tap and swipe gestures, changing their descent lane mid-fall. The buckets remain fixed in position, creating a spatial puzzle where timing and color recognition merge into split-second decisions. Every object always lands in a bucket—there are no misses due to poor aim. Mistakes happen when you match the wrong color to the wrong bucket.
A green life bar stretches across the top of the screen, serving as your survival meter. Correct color matches partially refill this bar while simultaneously increasing your score. Wrong matches drain the bar. When the green bar depletes completely, the round ends. This creates a dynamic tension where perfect accuracy extends your session indefinitely, while errors compound quickly under increasing speed and object quantity.
Control falling objects with single taps and swipes to move them between lanes. No virtual joysticks, no button combinations—just direct manipulation of each falling item as it descends toward the buckets below.
Match cyan boots to cyan buckets, pink objects to pink containers, blue items to blue targets. The visual system uses high-contrast colors against atmospheric backgrounds, making split-second identification possible even as speed increases.
The green life bar at the top of the screen operates as both timer and health meter. Correct matches refill it partially, wrong matches drain it. The game ends only when this bar empties completely, allowing skilled players to survive indefinitely.
Falling speed accelerates the longer you survive. More objects appear simultaneously on screen. Bucket positions can shift during extended runs, forcing rapid adaptation to new spatial configurations without warning.
Your highest score persists across sessions, displayed prominently on the game over screen. New record achievements trigger celebratory indicators, creating clear goals for improvement in subsequent attempts.
